The Saints beat the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday with a running attack that surprised themselves as well as the Falcons. Pierre Thomas continued his candidacy as the “future featured running back” of the New Orleans Saints with a 102 rushing yards performance on Sunday. Reggie Bush included 10 rushes for 80 yards to the Saints rushing totals. Both or players rushing totals are good news for the confidence of a beleagured Saints team that lost its desire for running the ball these past two years under Payton.
