The obvious ones were Shaq, Kobe, and a Reggie Bush USC jersey. There was a Darren Woodson Cowboys jersey for no apparent reason. Most importantly, the coveted center spot was granted to your friend and mine, Mr. Raul Ramon Mondesi Avelino! There were no other Dodgers jerseys in the entire place – no Gibson, no Koufax, no Robinson, not even Green, Nomar or Manny — just Mondesi (see picture). – lt;span style=font-weight: bold;gt;Phil in Californialt;/spangt;lt;br /gt;lt;/divgt;lt;br /gt;lt;div style=text-align: center;gt;lt;a onblur=try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {} href=http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_g5-bZ38yOUE/SdVhtuikj-I/AAAAAAAAB7o/eCbrnj8S9fM/s1600-h/unitas.jpggt;lt;img style=margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 300px; height: 400px; src=http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_g5-bZ38yOUE/SdVhtuikj-I/AAAAAAAAB7o/eCbrnj8S9fM/s400/unitas.jpg alt= id=BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5320265973023150050 border=0 /gt;lt;/agt;People were tailgating by the hundreds in the parking lot of the Super Bowl party I was at all day long. I spotted someone in the parking lot wearing a retro Steelers #14. Now, I know that since the jerseys were reintroduced last season that they mainly just sell ones for big name players. So did this guy enjoy the football stylings of Limas Sweed so much that he felt the need to have a custom retro jersey made? Or maybe he was just a big Longhorns and Steelers fan?lt;br /gt;lt;br /gt;lt;/divgt;lt;divgt; lt;/divgt; lt;div style=text-align: center;gt; lt;/divgt;lt;div style=text-align: center;gt;Well, it turns out that neither was the case, as I realized when I got closer and took the attached picture. However, I’m still not 100% sure this man isn’t committing a jersey foul. Is it kosher to wear a guy’s jersey who was only on the practice squad? Also, are those even the jerseys that the Steelers wore in 1955? – lt;span style=font-weight: bold;gt;John M., Floridalt;/spangt;lt;br /gt;lt;/divgt;lt;br /gt;lt;div style=text-align: center;gt;lt;a onblur=try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {} href=http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_g5-bZ38yOUE/SdVg-VHV47I/AAAAAAAAB7g/nK0XJcFkWMQ/s1600-h/tt.jpggt;lt;img style=margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 266px; height: 400px; src=http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_g5-bZ38yOUE/SdVg-VHV47I/AAAAAAAAB7g/nK0XJcFkWMQ/s400/tt.jpg alt= id=BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5320265158744204210 border=0 /gt;lt;/agt;I was at Bristol Motor Speedway for the NASCAR race this past weekend, and from the moment my feet hit stereotypically redneck terra firma I found myself warmly embraced by the exuberant, exhibitionist love of Steeler Nation. The towel sighting — which I was very vocally anticipating, much to the chagrin of my Patriots-loving companions (I know I keep bad company) — came as we were headed back to the car after the race, the perfect weekend wrap-up. — lt;span style=font-weight: bold;gt;Kelley S.lt;/spangt;lt;br /gt;lt;br /gt;lt;span style=font-size:180%;gt;lt;span style=font-weight: bold;gt;LINK OF THE DAYlt;/spangt;lt;/spangt;lt;br /gt;lt;br /gt;lt;span style=font-size:130%;gt;Dave Dameshek counts down the lt;a href=http://stations.espn.go.com/stations/espnradio1250/story?id=dameshekcolumn090330gt;Most Painful Losses in Pittsburgh Sports Since 1979lt;/agt;.
