Saints Fans Love/Hate Reggie Bush

Despite the cheers you heard for Reggie Bush after his electrifying punt returns Monday night, Saints fans have developed a love/hate relationship with him. The overwhelming majority of them would rather see Deuce McAllister carry the load at running back. All those “Deuuuce” chants in the Superdome are more than just love for McAllister. What you can’t hear on TV is that they are often accompanied by under-the-breath knocks on Bush, cursing his sideways (pussyfoot?) running style that often takes him out of bounds. Many have clearly grown tired of waiting for Bush to reach his much hyped potential.
