Quick Note to Coach Payton: If you had a player that could leap over a defender in a single bound, then why wouldn’t you have that player on the field to pick up 1 yard? 1 yard. Oakland and the Chiefs utilized Marcus Allen to score touchdowns by allowing him to “leap over the pile.” It should be called the “Trojan Leap!”
In the 2 years and 3 games Reggie has played in for the Saints, Payton hasn’t figured this out as a viable option. Coach, watch the film! He can do it, so let him.
